Personality

Zorral are a playful people. They love pulling pranks on their fellow adventurers, but are always loyal to their friends. Zorral adore meeting new people, as they are natural wanderers, but love company. Zorral don't like to make important decisions, or take time to prepare ahead of time.

Physical Description

Zorral are humanoid fox people. They have a slender figure, and thin limbs. They have the head, fur, and tail of a fox. Their limbs are shaped somewhat like a fox's, as well, but more humanoid in appearance, to account for their bipedalism. Their bushy tails are about 3' long.

Relations

Zorral get along well with anybody that is friendly. They have no prejudice toward any race, as they always want to make new friends. Zorral are loyal to their friendships, and don't like to upset people. A Zorral courtship is generally very short. Zorral are a playful people, after all...

Alignment

Zorral have an innate hatred of rules. Rules are seen as challenges to be conquered. As a result, Zorral are never Lawful. Zorral have a playful and friendly demeanor, so they tend toward Good.

Zorral Lands

Zorral have no homelands. They establish small settlements that move with the seasons.

Religion

Zorral generally worship gods who adore nature, trickery, or stealth.

Language

Zorral speak common, since most other people speak it. It is said that Zorral used to have their own language, but it was long since abandoned; as it led to language barriers between them and the other races.

Names

Zorral have very pleasant-sounding names. Many Zorral names can be used for either gender.

Ehlra, Aara, Aaron, Iro, Wasal, Relrehar, Malawun, Zerra, Serra.

Racial Traits

  • +4 Dexterity, +2 Charisma, -2 Strength, -2 Wisdom: Zorrals are very limber, but they are not the strongest. Their playful nature has a tendency to get them into trouble, as well.
  • Medium: As medium creatures, Zorral have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Zorral base land speed is 40 feet.
  • +2 to Reflex saves. Zorral are very agile, and have a natural instinct to dodge at the first clue of danger
  • +3 racial bonus to Listen and Spot checks. Zorral have very good hearing, due to their big ears. They also have keen eyes that can see better than most other races
  • Naturally Ambidextrous: Zorral gain the feat Ambidexterity as a bonus feat. The two halves of a Zorral's brain have a synergy that no other race can understand. They are born with equal control over both halves of their body
  • Darkvision out to 30 ft. Zorral normally hunt at night, and as such, can see very well in conditions with no little to no light.
  • Weapon Proficiency: Zorral are automatically proficient with the short sword scimitar, rapier, shortbow, and longbow.
  • Automatic Languages: Common. Bonus Languages: Elven, Sylvan, Dwarven, Draconic.
  • Favored Class: Ranger and Psychic Warrior. Zorral are naturally dextrous, so archery and stealth come easily to them. The synergy between the two halves of their brain make it much easier for them to unlock the power of their mind.
  • Level Adjustment: +1
