    Sexism

Zi Bang men are mostly rice farmers or fishermen. Zi Bang Women control the household and its finances. A good wife is considered modest, soft-spoken, well-mannered, and industrious. A truly refined lady is so quiet in movements that one cannot hear the sound of their silk skirt rustling.

    Marriage and Family

    Architecture

The stilt houses of farmers, made of woven bamboo with thatched roofs, are situated near the rice paddies on the edge of cities and typically consist of three rooms: the parents' bedroom, the daughters' bedroom, and the living area. Sons sleep wherever they can find space. Nobles live in much larger houses made of the same materials as the farmers', but the roofs are wooden shingles and have elaborate designs.

    Clothing

    Cuisine

Zi Bang cuisine includes a lot of rice, fruits, pickled vegetables, and noodles. Most meals are served with rice and a soup or stew. Families tend to eat a proper meal together in the mornings and evenings, but will snack on raw or preserved foods throughout the day rather than take a midday meal.
