Adamantine Dragons advance differently than regular Half-Dragons.

Racial Traits

Starts as a regular Half Dragon except as follows.

  • Starting Ability Score Adjustments: +2 Str, +2 Int.
  • No Natural Armor or Natural Attacks
  • Can't take a spellcasting class that uses Charisma for spells.
  • Gains Fire subtype instead of an immunity to fire.
  • Breath Weapon advances as Dragonborn except its max Dmg is 6d8, its max range is 60 ft and it is limited to fire and usable once per day. The save DC is based on racial HD.
  • Wings advance as a Dragonborn except an additional 4 HD makes it the same as a Half-Dragon. If the creature becomes large from a inherited template or racial HD advancement, it gains the wings then.
  • Adds Draconic as an automatic language.
