Yordle (3.5e Race)

Yordles

Personality

Yordles live in large yordle communities and enjoy social interactions. Generally friendly and peaceful, yordles are most often good or neutral. They are known for their love of revelry and pranks as much as gnomes but they are heavily dependent on the healthy relationships with others to maintain their goodhearted nature. A yordle that has had little or no social interaction over a long period of time may become evil. Such yordles rarely enjoy company and are most often found exiled from their communities.

Physical Description

Yordles range in size from 2 to 3 feet in height. Yordles can have smooth, slightly furry, or significantly furry skin. Their skin tone can be of almost any shade but generally tends towards light blue and purple. Eye color ranges from blues, grays and greens to dark brown and hazel.

Relations

Generally jovial, yordles enjoy the company of most other races.

Alignment

Most yordles desire social interaction and maintain a good or neutral alignment. A yordle that has gone too long without social activities will occassionally become evil, but this is a rare case at most.

Lands

Yordles live almost exclusively in their own cities and communities. The few that travel away from their homes are, in general, most likely to take up residence in larger cities with other yordles.

Religion

Yordles practice no specific religion but tend to frequent deities of good and neutral alignments.

Language

All yordles learn Common and Yordle. Being socially active creatures, yordles will pick up languages from other races they interact with.
