Ymir is the creator of the world of Ymirhart. The first being, he produced the world. When the first few attempts to create a world failed (these failed world's ruins being Ymirhart's moons), it became apparent that the planet needed to be stablized. Ymir bound himself in a deep trance, using his power to keep the world alive. He never uses avatars or ventures from his chamber, as doing so may threaten the balance of the planes. Ymir's chamber is located at the centre of the Prime Material plane, and is connected by various tunnels, though no mortal has ever reached the chamber. Ymir's chamber is fashioned out of pure crystal, and he lies inside one particularily large crystal in the centre of the room. Fharlanghn is Ymir's son. Though no mortal has lain eyes upon him, Ymir is commonly depicted as an old king with a long white beard, wearing a golden cuirass over a long white robe and a crown upon his head.

Dogma

Because there are many cults devoted to Ymir, there are many dogmas. Each cult holds its own beliefs. Some cults, for instance, wish to release Ymir so he can return to the world. Others seek a deeper understanding of the god himself. Whatever the case, no two dogmas are alike.

Clergy and Temples

Since Ymir has never set foot on any plane, no major clergy exists. Many minor cults, however, have sprung up to worship Ymir. As described in the Dogma section, each cult is very different and it is up to the DM to decide their actions. Ymir's worshippers can be of any alignment.
