Description

A whistling arrow is generally used by ambushers and monsters. The whistling arrow is like a regular arrow with the exception of the head. It's head is a large cylindrical piece of wood with grooves in it to produce a whistle as it flies. Ambushers can use it to draw the enemy to another location and into a trap, monsters use it to distract attention from their fortress, camp, wagon, ect. Whistling Arrows can be enhanced with audible spells which can make it emit an ear piercing screech or sound like a deer running away through the brush. Any sonic spell used on a whistling arrow is enhanced doing another dice of damage. Any creature 2 sizes smaller than the arrow takes 1d4 points of sonic damage, 1d6 for 3 sizes and so on. Any creature 2 sizes smaller that takes a hit from this takes sonic damage as above and 1d4 bludgeoning damage. Whistling Arrows come in a leather quiver that holds 20 arrows. An arrow that hits its target is destroyed; one that misses has a 50% chance of being destroyed or lost.

Prices and weights are for twenty arrows.

gollark: In this case apparently Feather *only* wants them caught if they turn.
gollark: You receive a teleport link from the ND experimenter, and if the egg is about to die or has greeninated, you click Accept and then later send it back to them.
