Way of the Incineroar (5e Subclass)

Way of the Incineroar

Monk subclass

Those that choose the Way of the Incineroar mimic the fighting style of the Pokemon Incineroar, relying on their technique of flashy, fiery, powerful hits of damage, meant to knock opponents out in a single blow.

Flame Tiger's Disciple

At 3rd level, you gain one of the following features of your choice:

  • You have darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of red, and if you already have darkvision, the range is increased by an additional 30 feet.
  • Your unarmed attacks deal fire damage instead of bludgeoning. You also gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed, assuming you don't already have a greater climbing speed.
Heel's Tactics

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with improvised weapons. You also gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill, and if you already have proficiency in it, your proficiency bonus is doubled for any Charisma (Intimidation) check you make.

Heel's Flame

At 6th level, you can spend 2 ki points to cast the hellish rebuke spell, without needing material components. Additionally, you can increase the damage by 1d10 for every additional ki point spent casting hellish rebuke.

11th Level Divergence

Starting at 11th level, you gain a signature move of your choice. Choose either the Darkest Lariat or Hyper Dark Crusher feature.

Darkest Lariat
At 11th level, when you successfully shove a creature, you may spend 1 ki point to shove the target an additional 5 feet. You can shove the creature back 5 more feet for each additional ki point spent, up to a maximum of 10 ki.
Hyper Dark Crusher
At 11th level, when you attack a creature of a size smaller than you, you may spend 5 ki points to double the damage dealt to the target.
Flame Tiger's Spirit

At 17th level, you gain resistance to fire damage. You may spend 1 ki point to make yourself immune to fire damage for 1 minute.
