Way of Lightning (5e Subclass)

Way of Lightning

This Monk subclass is for those who wish to utilize the power of lightning and thunder. Monks who learn this path gain the ability to summon lighting and control with their body utilizing their their Ki.

Cantrips

Starting at level 3 you learn the following Cantrips Shocking Grasp and Lightning Lure. Ki Spell Attack modifier = Proficiency bonus + Wisdom Modifier

Electric Boogaloo

Additionally at Level 3 you can use 1 Ki point to use Shocking Grasp or Lightning Lure as a bonus action

Storm’s Fury

Starting at level 6 you can spend 2 Ki points to imbue your attacks with lightning for 1 minute dealing an additional damage die equal to your Martial Art die in lightning damage.

Electric Absorption

Additionally at level 6 you gain immunity to lightning and can spend 3 Ki points as a reaction to heal up to half of the received lightning damage

Conductivity

Starting at level 11, When you hit more then one creature in a single round you can expand 4 Ki points to cast the Chain Lightning on everyone that you hit

Lightning Of The Gods

Starting at level 17, your touch can channel lightning into a creature. As an action, you touch one creature within 5 feet of you, and you expend 1 to 10 ki points. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw, and it takes 3d10 lightning damage per ki point spent on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
