Marmus Traits

A race of giant, scholarly mothmen.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2 and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. Marmii age and mature slowly. You reach adulthood at 28, and can live to be 800 years old.
Alignment. Marmii culture places importance in logic, order, and controlling (but not ignoring) one's emotions. Their alignment tends towards Lawful Good.
Size. Marmii have large, imposing frames, standing between 8-11 feet tall. Your size is Large.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Labored Flight. As an action, you can gain a flight speed of 30 feet until the start of your next turn. If you begin your turn in the air, you must use this action, or begin falling.
Auxiliary Limbs. You have a smaller pair of extra arms coming out of your midsection. These arms cannot wield weapons or shields, or be used to make attacks, but can hold spellcasting focii, reload weapons, or retrieve sheathed equipment.
Marmii Training. You may gain proficiency in your choice of Arcana, History, or Religion
Ponderous. As an action, you can forego making movement or using bonus actions to enter a state of deep thought. Until the end of your next turn, you have advantage on attack rolls and saving throws, and your concentration cannot be broken.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
