Backstory


Karnyr was born in a dwarven mining colony to a modest household, where he never went without the essentials, even if they were a bit plain at times. His lands were ruled by a wise and fair silver dragon called Phaeatir. His grandmother, Byrtris Dunhammer, was a cleric of Berronar Truesilver and retired adventurer, and Karnyr loved hearing the tales of her adventures and of the myths of dwarven gods, and aspired to travel far across the world. When he was in his early thirties, he was inducted as an acolyte at a temple of Berronar Truesilver. For more than thirty years, he served at that temple before he was sent on an urgent mission by the high priest at his temple to investigate news of an ancient sacred text being discovered in the Rift that detailed the location of an ancient underground holy city, thought destroyed for hundreds of years. However, the agents of a powerful duergar noble seek to recover this text for their own vile ends.

Darkvision. Accustomed to life underground, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern colour in darkness, only shades of grey.

Dwarven Resilience. You have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage.

Stonecunning. Whenever you make an Intelligence (History) check related to the origin of stonework, you are considered proficient in the History skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.
