Background
Jack is an urban legend. Locals sometimes whisper tales of the "Forest Phantom," a figure who haunts the woods and guards against trespassers. In reality, Jack of the Forest is a dracon decended from a green dragon who has called the forest home for over 200 years. His family was cruelly slaughtered by bandits that watched them suffer and laughed. He fled the area and kept going even after the bandits were gone, earning a scar on his back beneath his scales during the escape. He fled northeast for many a league. So far that even he doesn't know the distance. For one nameless land to another, he lost everything because of people. He despises people who take advantage of others as a result. Interestingly, he refuses to name the weapons the bandits used to kill two full grown scaled dracons, plus three others, with ease. He was the eldest brother by only 16 seconds. He is an amazing navigator, often boasting that once he has gone somewhere, he can always fo back and never gets lost. He can seem rough and arrogant, but has a soft spot for wolves and dogs. He knows (and is known by) every wolf in the local forest. He will offer help to others, but prefers to save himself over others when push comes to shove, unless his home is involved. He hates other people touching him and has a deep, gravelly voice. He enjoys terrorizing people who deserves it and scaring just about everyone else. He distrusts gods and worships no one. His greatest fear are ghosts, specifically the ghosts of his family, though he himself insists his greatest fear are the weapons called dragonslayers.
