Unwavering Earth

You were taught that the ultimate offense is an unbreakable defense. The style focuses on deflecting attacks and sudden, powerful movements.

Note: These are not fighting styles, but more or less a performance skill used to hone their fighting styles to a greater potential.

Monk Performance Skill: Unwavering Earth Style.

Rank 5 bonus (Apprentice): When fighting defensively you receive an additional +2 to armor class (deflection bonus that stacks with combat expertise).

Rank 10 bonus (Mediocre): Monk receives the Unwavering Earth ability making them able to double their wisdom modifier to AC for as many times per day as their wisdom modifier (this can be used as an immediate action and stacks with combat expertise).

Rank 15 bonus (Master): The monk receives an additional +4 to armor class (deflection bonus that stacks with combat expertise) when fighting defensively.

Rank 20 bonus (Grand Master): The monk can now use their Unwavering Earth ability 2x their wisdom modifier per day as well as receive a +6 bonus to armor class (deflection bonus that stacks with combat expertise) when fighting defensively.


Prerequisites: The monk may choose one performance skill at first level and may take no more thereafter.

gollark: Nvidia try and make you use the ridiculous "GeForce Experience" thing, have awful Linux support, and deliberately use the drivers to cripple a few features on consumer cards.
