Undeath (5e Subclass)

Undeath

Sorcerer Subclass

Your magic comes from your undead nature; either you are an undead creature, or one of your ancestors was.

Touched by Death

Starting at 1st level, you have several traits associated with the reanimated dead. You no longer need to breathe, become vulnerable to radiant damage, and gain resistance to necrotic damage. Additionally, the deathly pallor of your skin proves unsettling to other creatures; your Charisma ability score decreases by 1 unless you have some kind of complete disguise or illusion on you.

Psychopomp

Starting at 1st level, you learn the cantrip spare the dying and can cast it with a range of 20 feet.

To Die Twice

Starting at 6th level, you become stable after your second successful death saving throw, and rolling a 1 on a death saving throw only counts as a single failure. Additionally, if you take damage while at 0 hit points, make a Constitution save with DC equal to the damage you take; on a success, you don't suffer a death saving throw failure.

Potent Necromancy

Starting at 14th level, necrotic damage you deal ignores resistance, and treats creatures without resistance or immunity as being vulnerable. Whenever you cast a spell that would deal force damage, you can instead cause it to deal necrotic damage.

Beat a Dead Horse

Starting at 18th level, you gain resistance to piercing, slashing and bludgeoning damage from non magical weapons.
