Treetopper (3.5e Feat)
Treetopper [General, Regional]
3e Summary::Your people are at home in the trees and high places, daring falls that paralyze most other folk in abject terror.
Prerequisite: Must be an elf from Volare, or a Halfling from Tirasus. Alternatively, must be a Common Catfolk.
Benefit: You get a +2 bonus on Balance and Climb checks. You do not lose your Dexterity bonus to AC when climbing, and attackers do not gain any bonuses to attack you while you are climbing.
Some peoples, like the Wood Elves of Volare, or the Halflings of the Shadow Forest in Tirasus, live most of their lives in the trees, using the high ground for hunting, patrolling, and sometimes, for shelter. For most terrestrial creatures who cannot climb the tall trunks of the forest, this can often be a distinct disadvantage.

gollark: Lzip is neat apart from being entirely tied to LZMA, which is now obsoleted by zstandard.
gollark: Or there are, but they seem to be basically unsupported.
gollark: There don't seem to be *any* particularly good ones, though.
