More information...

Treant Sapling Tactics

The treant sapling uses Awaken Forest at the start of the encounter, then keeps its distance and uses Minor Tremor. It tries to stay out of melee combat if it can.

Treant Sapling Lore

A character knows the following information with a successful Nature check.

DC 12: Treant saplings are the young versions of the huge treants that reside in ancient forests. Although much weaker than their full-grown counterparts, they can still pose a danger to small parties.

DC 16: Treant saplings can make the trees surrounding them attack opponents. Although the trees are somewhat weak, a large number is a danger.

DC 20: Treant saplings attempt as much as possible to remain out of close combat. They can cause small earthquakes.

gollark: Not *necessarily*.
gollark: No.
