This specialty flintlock pistol has three barrels that can be fired individually or together.
- Ammunition
The flintlock pistol uses gunpowder and ball.
- Three Barrels
A three-barrel flintlock pistol can be fired three times before it needs reloading. In addition, the wielder may fire all three barrels at once, giving the attack the Brutal 1 property: If the attack hits, re-roll any damage die that shows a 1.
- Load Two Minor
It takes a two minor action to reload a flintlock pistol: one to load the powder and one to load three balls. The Speed Loader feat reduces the reload time to one minor action.
- Off-hand
The flintlock pistol is light enough that you can hold it and attack effectively with it while holding a weapon in your main hand. You can't attack with both weapons in the same turn, unless you have a power that lets you do so, but you can attack with either weapon.
- Powder Crit
The flintlock pistol deals more damage when you score a critical hit with it, though not as much as a High Crit weapon. It deals an extra 1 damage on a critical hit, this damage increase to 2 damage at 11th level and 3 damage at 21st.
