Terrados Elf (5e Subrace)

Elf Subrace

Elves are tall and lean folk, with many standing approximately half a foot taller than humans. They tend to have dark skin and hair that helps them in the desert sun. They enjoy wearing a variety of brightly colored loose fabrics. Men and women alike prefer earrings, and it can be difficult for other races to tell the difference between a male and female elf at a glance.

Created by the element of fire, these elves have long been the only race in the deserts of Terrados. They have lived peacefully with one another, but are wary of other races and their strange eating habits and guzzling of water.

Elves build large but close-knit communities in the desert around oasis and portals. They have advanced technology and have a particular love for firearms and explosives, despite this, they are a peaceful people. They value knowledge and experience. They do not like being touched in general, and highly value consent. Elves eat meat exclusively and get their plant-related nutrition via smoking.
