Talk:Vampeal (3.5e Race)

Looks like the making of a great major quest where the "ancient vampires forgotten by history" return to the world of mortals. I can see the default vampires crapping their pants, or going into a frenzy in search for a vampeal to devour. Do you intend to expound upon this more? Was this the inspiration you talked about on the talk page of my vampire overhaul? Sorry if I seem a little odd, but I enjoy spreading tasteful lore. FiddleSticks96 (talk) 11:46, 23 June 2012 (MDT)

Well first off I don't find you odd and I am glad to see I have peeked someones interest with my little take on how vampires came into existence. I do DM from time to time with my buddies and I have been considering setting up a campaign scenario that I think could be very interesting. Um as for the vampire overhaul talk page I am slightly confused I have briefly perused it and found that it was enlightening however it had no hand in my creation of this race. If I were to have to say that anything really inspired me to create this race I would have to say it was a combination of Vampire Hunter D and Trinity Blood. Sorry, didn't mean to seem confusing. Someone who called themselves "BlackPoindexter" commented on how my overhaul gave them some inspiration, and I thought I'd follow up by checking out what they had made and seeing if I could be of any more use. They weren't logged in and didn't leave the normal ~x4 signature, so all I had to track them down with was the IP. I thought you were them, but I see you have a different name. With that said, I'm still glad to see that there are still many active people on this site, and that I'm not the only one committed to making vampires more entertaining for D&D.

I assume that, with a +7 LA, Vampeals will have more abilities than those listed? I'm also interested in your ideas for the Blood Craft ability. FiddleSticks96 (talk) 23:08, 30 June 2012 (MDT)
