Talk:Super Hero (5e Class)
How about a weakness? Like bits of your planet of origin, ala kryptonite, or being a normal human, tiefling, etc., ala batman and iorn man. -poni gril
Do you think it is a little op?
it certainly could be. It really comes down to how the "Weaknesses" are used. if they are inescapable, then it becomes underpowered, since all of it's features are taken away. if they never show up, then absolutely it's OP. but if they are applied on a regular basis, like having mage hunters be wandering around if they play a magic hero, having a specific villain which has constant access to the Mighty Hero's weakness metal (Ala Lex Luthor), or having most things be closed at night/having most of the party sleep at night (which makes sense for most campaigns) they'll average out to the rest of the party's effectiveness. if your problem is that you don't get a weakness until you get a subclass, i'd point you to the paladin, which operates in the same way. -poni gril
