Talk:Sorrel's Chaining Lances (5e Spell)

Oh Dear.

If I read correctly, and it's very possible I don't, this spell deals 50d8 + 125d6 + 50 + 125 (750) Force damage. It does not require an attack roll. The 9th level version doubles this damage.

To put into perspective how completely and utterly ridiculous this spell is, look at Meter Swarm, the single most damage dealing vanilla spell. It only deals 40d6 (120) Fire and Bludgeoning damage. This spell is 6.25x stronger than the strongest spell available at 9th level.

Please do something about this. --SwankyPants (talk) 10:26, 9 November 2020 (MST)

gollark: Unfortunately there is no automatic process. But there are a lot of those potatOS IDs there.
gollark: What are you DOING to keep POTATOSING it?
gollark: You can literally just use `factor` on Linux.
gollark: It doesn't require Wolfram Alpha.
gollark: 3d6 called me that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
