Talk:Slasher, 2nd Variant (5e Class)

Dead levels

Hey, I noticed you emailed me, but I don't really use that email address much and so it would be easier to talk here. Basically, a dead level is when a class doesn't get any class features. This class doesn't gain any features other than an additional 5 feet of movement at levels 9, 13, and 17. I think the Supernatural Movement feature is interesting, although I'm not sure if that speed is added to your base speed or if that is your speed. If it is the former, 35 additional feet of movement at level 1 is too much. If it is the former, it should be changed to a movement speed bonus to match with the ways that other classes get similar bonuses. --PJammaz (talk) 10:42, 21 June 2020 (MDT)

A response.

That seems understandable, I'll tweak the supernatural movement, but I got kind of lost after those first few abilities, I'm trying to go for a mixture of Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees, but I had lost my thinking. I'd like to hear your ideas if you have any. If I'm going to add more abilities, I'm going to need help or at least inspiration.

Creating a class takes a lot of work. Many people spend months working on them. It really isn't a problem to leave a WIP or stub on the article while you are working on it. I will keep thinking about this class and if I have any ideas, I will let you know. --PJammaz (talk) 06:32, 22 June 2020 (MDT)
