Talk:Shield Maiden (5e Class)

Hey there! A friend of mine came across your post and loved the idea of a Shield Maiden. There are a lot of great abilities that would make this a unique class, and super fun to play.

How ever, my brother and I noticed a lot of inconsistencies, as well as un-clear ruling as to how the class was meant to be played.

With a will to create a viable, balanced class, we took the bases of your idea, tweaked it, and came out with a class that has two different paths. One focused around protecting allies, and another focused on receiving divine grace from the Norse Gods to deal damage and swoon the Maiden's way on the battle field.

This is no means meant to undermine all the work you have accomplished, but an attempt to help clear some things up with more consistency. We never would have been able to complete this without your initial work and dedication. Here is the google.docs link that describes the entire class, complete with a Shield Maiden Table.
