Talk:Sealing Strike (5e Spell)
Effects shouldn't be based on alignment. SirSprinkles (talk) 05:18, 15 June 2019 (MDT)

- 5e has carved out most of the alignment-based effects that were so prevalent in 3.5e. What once were many different spells with the same basic effect targeting lawful/chaotic/good/evil have been rolled into a single spell, like dispel evil and good targeting creature types instead of alignments. - Maybe I'm missing something, I personally don't think the alignment aspect is a problem.
- 5e material is written in such a way that creatures don't require a specified alignment, but all official creatures (and seemingly all creatures on this wiki) have an alignment anyway. That aspect might warrant a Design Note or something, but it plays perfectly well with 5e rules.
- Of course, the {{needsbalance}} is still totally justified. That effect seems very overpowered for a 3rd-level spell. - Guy 07:17, 15 June 2019 (MDT)
