Talk:Night Fury (3.5e Creature)

I think adapting this creature for D&D would be a fun addition, but I think that it's abilities have been exaggerated here a little bit. - Altrunchen 6/28/18

So some things I think might need addressing:

  • This should be adapted into a Dragon Creature template page.
  • The flight maneuverability of "perfect" seems inconsistent with the base creature.
  • The Damage Reduction of 40/- doesn't seem to have much basis in the series. Otherwise how could Toothless get its tail injured in the first movie that caused it to crash-land?
  • Giving it a Strength of 60 makes it stronger than a Great Wyrm Red Dragon, which also doesn't seem to have a precedent.
  • Missing entries for Organization, Treasure, Advancement, and a - for level adjustment.
  • The creature has more hit-dice than some of the older dragons in D&D.
