Talk:Necromancer's Mask (5e Equipment)
"Opinion"
Who would want to wear this? Your only benefit is +5 on intimidation? ~BigShotFancyMan talk 12:51, 13 December 2019 (MST)
- I agree, the old version of this item wasn't that interesting and mainly just had downsides to using the item. As such, I went ahead and reworked the item to hopefully make it more fun to use and all around better. What are your thoughts on the rework?--Blobby383b (talk) 18:46, 13 December 2019 (MST)
- It is cute that you ask. I think.... ~BigShotFancyMan talk 19:59, 13 December 2019 (MST)
Quality Article
With the recent rework this article had, I find it to be fitting of the QA title with some grammar touches. ~BigShotFancyMan talk 19:59, 13 December 2019 (MST)
- Comment — I am happy that you think so highly of the item! I just reworded a lot of the text, but am unsure if there are still any grammar issues or things that are unclear so tell me if you can find anything. Besides that, do you think that the names of the properties fit and what other thoughts do you have on the item?--Blobby383b (talk) 18:00, 16 December 2019 (MST)
- We spoke before but here I am now asking, would it be better worded to say it regains all charges at dusk instead of up to 8? Otherwise, I think the page is just waiting for time to pass. Red Leg Leo (talk) 07:17, 26 February 2020 (MST)
- I think you are correct, saying the item regains all expended charges would be better. Besides that, the item looks great after all the minor tweaks and fixes.--Blobby383b (talk) 21:11, 1 March 2020 (MST)
- Support — This item has a number of excellent properties that really give you the feeling that you gain the powers of a powerful necromancer upon attuning to this item. In addition, I love the idea of you slowly becoming an undead because of the corruption from using Undying Necromancer. Overall, this is a fun item to have.--Blobby383b (talk) 21:21, 1 March 2020 (MST)
- Support. I echo Blobby's comments. A unique item fit for any campaign. Red Leg Leo (talk) 10:14, 2 March 2020 (MST)
- Support. Very cool item. Only change I could suggest would be slightly more detrimental corruption effects. E.g. when you can't feel empathy, you have a -2 penalty on persuasion or the like. Malachai (talk) 08:24, 27 December 2020 (MST)
gollark: I'm considering implementing the assembler in JS or Python or Rust or something, but it *would* be nice to have this available from within potatOS.
gollark: Honestly that's entirely unnecessary and I would probably only need simple splitting into lines and label handling, but you know.
gollark: That's how you would do it in my thing, using a somewhat insane S-expression assembly-ish language.
gollark: Using hypothetical assembly syntax I haven't actually implemented:```# start of memory to add kittens to(add r1 r0 0x1000) # maybe there would be nice dedicated syntax for "set register" actually# end of kittenized region(add r2 r0 0x1600)(label loop (add r3 r0 40) (poke r3 r1 0) (add r3 r0 94) (poke r3 r1 1) # and so on (add r1 r1 8) (jlt r1 r2 loop))```
gollark: To create RAM kittens, all you need to do is `ADD` the ASCII value of each character into a temporary register, `POKE` them into the right memory location (using the per-instruction `POKE` offset, probably), and then do that in a loop.
