Talk:Living Lightning (3.5e Class)

Wow..

Okay, while this is SICK AS ANYTHING it's pretty OP. The stun on Hand of the Storm should absolutely come with a save, but it doesn't seem to. The various other effects are absolutely bonkers, especially at the early levels, and the rest is bloody insanity too. Definitely a Boss Class/Super Class (always considered 2 CR higher than would otherwise be), which is fine, because I am inexperienced in suggesting nerfs and it's so metal I'd be sad to see its power drop, but certainly designate it as high power, and most effects should have saves. I'd probably be more critical, but it's so ridiculous that I just can't bring myself to kill the fun. Hell, this probably steps into 3 CR higher territory, but I love it anyway. Just keep in mind it's WICKED tough for what it is, and not to see it as anything other than grossly more powerful than other classes. -SecondDeath777

Edit: Also, a myriad of things are not terribly clear. If you need details, I can give a rundown. Beyond that, because you can apparently cast any sorcerer spell, I think a fun thing to do would be replace any energy type resulting from your spells with electricity. Hence, Fireball becomes Thunderball, for example. Also, more backstory would be nice. Is this the result of experimentation? Did the gods want to make a demigod army without all the sex? I want to see this fleshed out.

gollark: Or just optimize the JS more.
gollark: I will have to rewrite the performance-sensitive bits in Rust and/or move to PostgreSQL as the database.
gollark: It was only 15 minutes or so.
gollark: Yes. Briefly.
gollark: It really is quite bad.
