Talk:Lictor (3.5e Race)
Creature vs Race
"Points Cost: 80pts. Equiptment: Rending Claws, Sything Talons and Flesh Hooks." eh? I'd consider making this a creature rather than a race; from my knowlege of the Tyranids, I'd say it isn't one to take class levels. I'd also make it mindless (Int —). Also, remember the rending claws and sything talons, and the camoflage. I'd give it Wisdom 10 and Cha 2 as well. Don't forget the 'Stealers. Or the Broodlord. --Sam Kay 12:45, 23 February 2008 (MST)
- I'm not sure about current edition rules, but IIRC in the older books there were Independent units that could operate without the Hive Mind. I believe that the Lictor is one of them. Well, even if that's not right, I believe they still had Ld10, making it almost a non-issue. --Skirmisher 00:49, 25 May 2011 (MDT)

Why is Template:Copyright Disclaimer present? Is this based off of something or was it just accidentally stuck on this page? --Green Dragon 21:39, 24 February 2008 (MST)
- If it has to do with Tyranids it's probably related to Warhammer 40K. -- Eiji 22:31, 24 February 2008 (MST)
- It is related to 40k. That is why I added the template. A lictor is a tyranid creature that uses an elite choce for up to 3 lictors (it is a 0-1 choice) at 80pts each. A lictor is equipped with rending claws, scything talons, flesh hooks and feeder-tendrils, and must deepstrike. --Sam Kay 06:50, 26 February 2008 (MST)
Size/Weight?
Why is it only 6ft and 90kg? When they tower over men and space marines? I'm going to Edit it into Large Creature, 10ft to 12ft (1d3+9) height. As for weight, I'd say a little more then double that of a really build man, so ~180kg? maybe 160 + 1d4x10kg.
