Talk:Doom Guy, Variant (5e Class)
A Look at This Class
Lets take a look at this class's features,
- The class should be able to multiclass, the description is extremely lackluster, the class has many dead levels(levels where you don't get features), the class is missing questions about creating a doom guy, the image is too large and needs to be right aligned, and the class needs to be renamed to Doom Guy, Variant (5e Class).
- Class Equipment. Class's should not be given equipment, see Class Do's and Don'ts (5e Guideline) and the equipment should not be on the class page itself, it should be on a separate page on 5e Weapons.
- Execute. Instakill is not acceptable, and you shouldn't use the per short/long rest wording(see guideline above)
- Berserk. You shouldn't be able to attack twice a turn, it is too powerful with weapons, dazed and staggered aren't conditions in 5e, and you repeatedly enter this state for no cost?
- Seek and Destroy. This feature should be merged with the Execute feature since it is only an improvement on an already existing feature
- Armored Offensive. Same as above.
- Dazed and Confused. Dazed is not a condition in 5e again and this feature should not have round counting.
- Saving Throw. This feature needs to be renamed, saving throws already exist and this feature being called that only causes confusion
- Demon Hunter. You should not ever have advantage on all your attack rolls, even if it is just against certain creatures.
- Crucible. Do you have this weapon permanently and a weapon shouldn't give a creature the Extra Attack feature(and the feature itself needs to be descripted)
- Overall the wording needs a ton of work as well, see Help:When to Italicize and Capitalize.
The class as a whole is vastly incomplete and lacking in numerous areas. I would heavily recommend that the creator look through 5e Class Design Guide and look thorough the 5e SRD on how 5e works works before creating a class.--Blobby383b (talk) 10:33, 30 April 2018 (MDT)
gollark: So do I really *have* two books now?
gollark: I mean, see, in theory I had *two* books on amateur radio. But I can't find one of them now, and it may not even exist, while I know where one of them is.
gollark: So do you really *have* an antihaskell rap?
gollark: ++delete the antihaskell rap of the evil <@319753218592866315>
