Talk:Dastardly Swordsman (3.5e Prestige Class)
Class Features
It gets it abilities too soon, try to spread them out a bit. Also, be sure to put in level 10 bait, like a feign everyone once an encounter or something of that nature. --202.33.24.131 18:26, 28 July 2008 (MDT)
- What do you think of the Dazzling Swordsman progression? As soon as that's done, I'm pretty much going to copy and paste it here. --Monkeychewtoy 23:01, 28 July 2008 (MDT)
- EDIT: Dazzling progression is done. What do you think?--Monkeychewtoy 02:21, 29 July 2008 (MDT)
- I think the saves should be slightly different from the Dazzling Swordsman. Bad guys seem to be better at will saves than gullible heroes (Using Elan as an example). And that would make the character's choice a bit more open-ended than "Do I want cause fear or remove fear?" (For currently neutral characters at least). And that can make showdowns between the two classes more exciting ("Perfectly symmetrical violence never solved anything" -Professer Farnsworth).--windandfire 15:14, 30 July 2008 (MDT)
Quick Draw
I like the use of the extra feat, especially for the "A dastardly swordsman with quick draw may throw weapons at his full normal rate of attacks (much like a character with a bow)" line. Perhaps, though, you could add the feature of getting a different feat if you already have Quick Draw?--Dsurion 22:19, 14 April 2009 (MDT)
Cause Fear?
Yeah... I guess you are going to meet a lot of creature with less than 6 HD when you are adventuring at level 9. Right Artful Antagonist is gained at level 9 and is immediately useless.--Lord Dhazriel 22:45, 14 April 2009 (MDT)
