Talk:Classic Villian (3.5e Prestige Class)

Monologue

First, this needs a monologue ability. Maybe the villain could use an extraordinary ability to deliver a monologue. This would be ideal if the opponents were already grappled, as in Black Tentacles. The monologue would give all allies a +2 morale bonus on all attacks, checks, and saves, lasting as long as the monologue does. Enemies would get a -2 morale penalty, similarly. The villain cannot take any actions other than movement, including attacks of opportunity, for as long as he maintains the monologue, which can be ended as a free action. Servant of Evil

I think a Servant of Evil class feature would be a pretty cool idea, based on the Extreme Loyalty flaw. A servant of evil would be like a relatively dim cohort, able to carry out its master's instructions or (at best) formulate fairly simple plans. It will never betray its master, and if it makes a mistake, will apologize and beg for forgiveness, hoping for a chance to "redeem" itself. Essentially, an overly-devoted evil minion. gollark: I think it's the last bit.
gollark: *Space* letters.
gollark: Why does that URL say *darkness*?
gollark: I don't think "obliterate entire polity" is a very good idea generally.
gollark: And/or just fiddling with the universe at a lower level.
