The rest of the item isn't much better, 5e doesn't measure distance by squares, the item presumably messes with the initiative order, though the effect is unclear and extremely strong, and you shouldn't be able to blind(how a creature is blinded is also heavily lacking, it needs an aoe, DC to beat, type of saving throw, do you remake saving throws, and duration) multiple creatures with a single mundane item.--Blobby383b (talk) 21:02, 14 April 2018 (MDT)
