Talk:Aura of Invisibility (5e Spell)

Article Spotlight

Invisibility! Such a powerful thing to be able to do. I am not a fan of it so much as greater invisibility but here we have an aura! Aura or "mass" spells I enjoy because of versatility but boy is there a high cost. Cure wounds is a first level spell but mass cure wounds is four slots higher at 5th level. Obviously mass cure wounds can heal more hit points than a 5th level cure wounds, but again, high cost. Aura of invisibility is missing that cost currently. Babilfrenzo had a good idea creating this back in April 2016 in my opinion. It follows the same spell lists as the other invisibility spells and doesn't add any extra fluff for something this simple. To make this the same cost, I think this should be a 9th level spell considering how many creatures can be affected and a 10 minutes duration. Another spell pairing that has a four level gap between the single target and mass version is suggestion. Red Leg Leo (talk) 11:52, 21 February 2020 (MST)
