Storm Vest

By spending 7 ki points, as a standard action, you may create a whirlwind of winds and lightning around you.

It works as the spell fire shield but it deals 3d6+1 per ki user level (maximum +10), half damage is electric and half sonic.

It gives you sonic and electric resistance equal to the ability modifier you use for your ki techniques. For any 3 additional ki points spent you may increase this resistance by 2, up to 10.

It lasts 1 round per class level, up to 10.

While this technique is active you may take an immediate action to use a similar effect to the secondary effects of fire shield but you must choose between sonic or electric effect and spend 5 extra ki points. Doing so interrupts the technique immediatly after.

This counts as a supernatural ability.
