Steel Dragon

Physical Description

Steel Dragon looks a lot like a silver dragon, but instead of having scales that look like a singles shining plate, their scales are very pointing, the scales on their wing can even be used as knifes. Ah also different from the silver dragon they do not have mohawk... it is very important. Steel dragons in their natural forms were especially feline in their movements and stature. They had scales that shone like burnished steel as adults and usually smelled like wet metal. Younger dragons' scales were a darker blue-gray and less lustrous. Their wings consisted of overlapping blades that looked like feathers, and the scales on their chests resemble shields. Their faces were particularly expressive, sometimes giving the illusion of a human-like face. They had many long spines surrounding their faces, which gave the appearance of hair.
In humanoid forms, steel dragons usually kept their true identities secret; however, they always had at least one visual indication of their true nature in the form of steel-gray hair, eyes, tattoos, or another feature.

History

Steel Dragons are creatures rarely seen, when they transform in humans they live their lives like their own, and just transform back when their human form lifespan is over. Whenever they transform back they end up making a legendary/unique magical item to symbolize their human life, and then they store the item in their lair(a steel dragon lair is know to be one of the most protected places in the mortal realm. When a Steel Dragon finish the item he enter in a state of meditation where they lock their last lived memory, they make it to live a new fresh life as a new human being).

Society

They live on the human society, but when they aren't in human form they try to procreate with another Steels Dragons, when they' are "successful" with the mating they start a " semi-life" where they live in a temporary human form with their "soulmate" and they just transform back to take care of the eggs, when their children reach adulthood they lock their memory to not remember anything about their soulmate and children. Unlike most other dragons, steel dragons did not live in caves, preferring castles, towers, palaces, mansions, and the like. While they preferred to eat in their human forms, doing so would not provide them enough nourishment to survive, so they would have to make excuses to go hunting secretly in their dragon forms every three tendays or so. According to Elminster steel dragons were also called "Greyhawk dragons", and according to Mordenkainen, that was the proper name of the species.

Steel Dragon Traits

Steel dragons, sometimes known as Waterdeep dragons, were metallic dragons who were rarely seen in their natural form, instead living clandestine lives in human cities, observing art, culture, history, and politics.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength, Constitution, and Charisma scores each increase by 3.
Age. Dragons reach adulthood around 100 and it is said that they can live up to 10,000 years.
Alignment. Steel Dragons tend to be neutral law.
Size. Medium, sames as humans
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Senses. blindsight 60 ft., darkvision 120 ft.
Guise Empowerment (Optional). After a months work attuning to there new body the steel dragon could gain the benefits of its draconic body while being still in its guise. It would still look like its guise but be able to punch with the strength of a dragon, carry thing with the vigor of a dragon, and its skin would be as tough as a dragon.
Time Touching. Your guise will age at a normal rate for the race
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Draconic, and one other language of your choice.
