Creating a Spartan-II

This template is acquired and can only be gained by a human

Size and Type

Increase base creatures size one step.

HD & HP

1D10 Buffer Health

Speed

Increase Base creature by +10

Armor Class

Though the Spartan-II does not gain an AC bonus, they are equipped with the Spartan Mk.III Battle Armor

Attack

+1 BAB, include to calculate attacks per round.

Special Qualities

Spartan Endurance - All critical hit on a Spartan have a -4 to confirming. Immunity to all Forms of disease that would alter the form of the character I.E. Lycanthropia...Flood

Spartan Aura(Ex): A Spartan will not tolerate cowardice of any kind from those who choose to travel with him and so simply emits an emanating aura of pure brute intimidation. Any ally within 30ft of the Spartan (including the Spartan himself) that is affected by a fear-based magical attack or any fear-based effects may use the Spartan’s Intimidate check result in place of its saving throw if, after the saving throw is rolled, the Intimidate check result proves to be higher. If an ally within range of the Spartan is already under the influence of a fear effect or fear-based magical attack, it gains another saving throw against the effect each round it is within the Spartan's Spartan Aura, but it must use the Spartan's Intimidate check result for the save. The Spartan Aura has no effect against effects that don’t allow saves. The Spartan Aura effect is instantly negated if the Spartan himself becomes helpless

Spartan Mk.II - V

Spartans can have their genetics modified even farther, doing so is beneficial but also dangerous, These Upgrades are reffered to as Marks, As in Spartan-II Mark 2-5, A Spartan can only go as high as Mk.5. Each time a Spartan takes a Mark upgrade they gain the following: Str +6 Dex +6 Con +6 Cha +2 Movement Speed +5 +1D10 +1 Additional Feat

ECL/LA +3

Meaning that each time you upgrade one mark, you increase your ECL by 3, S2Mk2 = +6 Mk3 +9, Mk4 +12 to a maximum of Mk5 +15
