Personality

All Southlanders act cautiously to avoid danger and will talk their way out of any bad situation. If they have to struggle to survive a battle, then they didn't pick good allies. There are large mineral deposits in the Southlands, so many Southlanders are skilled smiths and inventors. Because of their quick wits and technical expertise, they have long attention spans and are important to any adventure group.

Physical Description

Southlanders are shorter than most humans, even reaching 5" for most of them is a task achieved by a step ladder. They weigh about 100 pounds. They have varying skin shades, with tan being the most common. They have brown or black hair, and brown eyes. Beards are uncommon within the communities of Southlanders.

Relations

The Southlanders live in families until they are old enough to work. When they are able to work the youth move out to apprenticeships with skilled artisans. Southlanders will then spend their life working by themselves and will only marry if they believe it will benefit them. Southlanders will negotiate and use their tongues to avoid troble.

Alignment

Most Soutlanders are Neutral and only care about their own fame. Most of them are neither lawful or chaotis but there are some lawful neutral Southlanders in cities. Most people would assume that Southlanders are good, but that is only because the law allows them to stay out of trouble.

Lands

Southlanders tend to live in mountains and deserts. They make their shelters in caves and their clothes from plants and metals. When they enter a new enviroment, they are much more defensive than

Language

The Southlanders speak a highly accented Common language and combine in their own words when they can't think of a word. There is also a special language of the South that all highlanders speak, but that is only in conversation with each other.
