Class Features

Soulbound Weapon: Upon taking this class the Soulbonded Warrior gains a Soulbound weapon. A soulbound weapon is the combination of a Soulbonded Warriors dearly departed and his favorite weapon that have become one. Once a Soulbonded Warrior has bonded himself to a Soulbound weapon the bond is permanent and irreversible. If either the Soulbonded Warrior or his soulbound weapon are detroyed the other half is also destroyed outright. The Soulbound weapon cannot be sundered or destroyed by any normal means. It is considered to be an intelligent weapon and it doesn't take kindly to sharing it's partner with other weapons. A Soulbonded Warrior may use other weapons that he is proficient with but doing so may upset his Soulbound weapon thereby temporarily hindering their connection. If a Soulbonded Warrior uses any weapon other than his Soulbonded weapon he must make a will save DC 15+Soulbound weapons level (which is the same as the level of its partner). If he fails the weapon loses all bonuses that have been accrued until he wields only his partner for a number of rounds equal to twice the number of rounds the Soulbonded weapon felt ignored. At level 1 and ever level thereafter the Soulbonded weapon gains a bonus that stacks with all previous bonuses. The weapon must be on the character to gain the benefits. If another person attempts to touch the Soulbound weapon regardless of intent they must succeed in a will save DC 30 or take damage equal to 10+Soulbound weapons level psychic damage.

Level 1: The weapon is treated as being a +1 magical weapon for purposes of overcoming damage reduction. It also gains a +1 enhancement bonus to attack and damage rolls. Level 2: Grants a +1 enhancement bonus to all saving throws made by its wielder. Level 3: Grants its wielder a +1 enhancement bonus to AC. Level 4: Grants a +1 enhancement bonus to all skill checks made its partner Level 5: The weapon grants its partner DR 1/- Damage resistance Level 6: The weapon is treated as being a +2 magical weapon for purposes of overcoming damage reduction. It also gains a +2 enhancement bonus to attack and damage rolls. Level 7: Grants an additional +1 enhancement bonus to all saving throws made by its wielder. Level 8: Grants its wielder an additional +1 enhancement bonus to AC. Level 9: Grants another +1 enhancement bonus to all skill checks made its partner Level 10: The weapon grants its partner DR 5/- Damage resistance

Soul Resonance: At 2nd level and every even level thereafter, the Soulbonded Warrior gains a Soul Resonance ability. A Soul Resonance is when a Soulbonded warrior and their Soulbound weapon match their wave-lengths to create powerful effects. these effects are considered supernatural abilities. A Soulbonded Warrior can resonate a number of times per day equal to half his Soulbonded Warrior.

Resonant Doubling: At 2nd level, the pair align themselves in such a way as to temporarily double all the benefits currently given by the Soulbound weapon. This effect lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3+ his wisdom modifier.

Resonant Spell: At 4th level, the Soulbonded warrior may choose one spell of second level or lower from any school as a Soul Resonance ability. The soulbonded warrior may cast that spell as a standard action and need not have the components for the spell. The DC to resist this spell is 10 + spell level + WIS mod. If a spell has an XP cost that cost must still be paid. If the spell has a range of touch, a Soulbonded warrior may use his Soulbound weapon to deliver the touch by making a successful touch or melee attack.

Resonant Enhancement: At 6th level, the alignment allows the wielder to focus their Resonance into a single attribute of his choice. This ability adds an enhancement modifier to the chosen attribute equal to half their Soulbonded warrior level. This effect lasts a number of rounds equal to 3+ his Constitution modifier.

Improved Resonant Spell: at 8th level, the Soulbonded warrior may choose a spell of fifth level or lower from any school as a Soul Resonance ability.

Improved Resonant Enhancement: At 10th level, The pair's alignment allows for the enhancement of 2 different attributes. This ability adds an enhancement modifier to the chosen attribute equal to half their Soulbonded warrior level. This effect lasts a number of rounds equal to 3+ his Constitution modifier.

Soulsense A Soulbonded Warrior has acquired a special understanding for the connection of a soul to a body. This allows him to sense the presence of living beings nearby. This ability functions just the spell Sense Life (3.5e Spell) and may be used a number of times per day equal to his WIS mod.

Soulbound Alteration Soulbound alteration is an ability used similar to Soul Resonance, except that its result alters Soulbound Weapon itself. It allows the Soulbound Weapon to alter her form in such a way to be more effective against a given foe. When the Soulbound feels like it isn't being as effective as it could, it can alter itself to change its damage type (slashing, piercing, bludgeoning) so that it assumes the form of the best tool for the job. A Soulbound Weapon may perform this feat once per day.

Soulrend: Soulrend is a technique that Soulbonded Warrior uses on their own. It involves altering one's own soul wavelength to be incompatible with another creature's, causing injuries with physical contact. This is a touch attack that deals damage equal to the Soulbound Weapons damage. If a creature is struck by Soulrend, they must roll a Fort save (DC 10+Soulbonded Warrior level+Con mod) or be stunned for one round. The Soulbonded warrior can use Soulrend a number of times a day equal to his Wis modifier, to maximum of half his Soulbonded Warrior level. Constructs, oozes, plants, undead, incorporeal creatures, and creatures immune to critical hits cannot be stunned.

Soulbound Perfection: Soulbound Perfection is the epitomy of a Soulbound Weapons evolution. Once She reaches this state a Soulbound weapon is able to overcome all types of damage reduction and is treated as a SRD:Vorpal weapon.
