Soul Transfer (5e Spell)

Choosing a creature within range which isn't an undead or construct, you suffer 1d4 necrotic damage and the target regains a number of hit points equal to the damage dealt to you this way. At the beginning of that creature's next long rest, as long as it is alive and still on the same plane of existence as you, it suffers necrotic damage equal to twice the hit points it gained through this spell and you regain that many hit points.

Components: V, S, M (A coin worth at least 1 gp).
Duration: Instantaneous
