The Soul Blades are a group of people who stand at the pinnacle of humanity and divine. Most often aasimar, the techniques of becoming a Soul Blade can be passed down to all mortals. The Soul Blades originated through the Catastrophic Holy War, in which the Primordial Gods and the Divines of Elementheia clashed for control of the Material Plane, with hopes to give the mortal races of their creation hope of a brighter future away from the other side. While the Primordial Gods chose to rely on beasts with the creation of the Elder Dragons, the Divines instead chose to rely on the mortals that they had created alongside the Primordials. This lead to Torm's creation of the Soul Blades, those who can summon the power of any blade they choose to wield. Any alignments work for Soul Blades, but most rely on either a lawful neutral, or chaotic good alignment.
- Soul Bind
Starting at 3rd level, a Soul Blade begins their journey with the first technique, the Soul Bind. During a short or long rest, you can use 30 minutes to perform the Soul Bind Ritual, in which a weapon of choice can be sealed within your soul. As a bonus action you can swap between soulbound weapons, using your soul as the sheathe for any weapons you have performed the ritual on. Ranged Weapons require you to use this ritual to bind the ammo to your soul as well. You have a number of bound slots equal to your Fighter Level. Weapons that are rare or very rare require 2 slots, legendary weapons require 3 slots, and artifact weapons require 4 slots.
- Blessing of Battle
At 3rd level, You gain a connection with Torm, and can call upon him to bless you in battle. As a bonus action on your turn, you can give yourself advantage on all weapon attack rolls until the end of the current turn.
You can use this feature three times. You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
- Divine Armor
Starting at 7th level, You can use your reaction to cast the Shield Spell, without material components or use of a spell slot.
You can use this feature two times. You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
- Additional Fighting Style
At 10th level, you can choose a second option from the Fighting Style class feature.
- Angelic Blade
At 15th level, it no longer requires a bonus action to swap between soulbound weapons, and all weapons soulbound to you of rare or lower rarity get a +1 added to their attack and damage modifier.
- Armiger
At 18th level, you fully command the power of the Celestial Sword Master. Once per Long Rest, you can choose to enable the Armiger, the technique in which you command all the blades you have inherited. Make one weapon with each weapon you are soulbound with (you may use the Extra Attack option after these attacks end). During these attacks, you can also teleport 60 ft in any direction, provided it's towards another hostile target. After a number of minutes equal to your proficiency bonus, the Armiger wears off, and you gain an Exhaustion Point.
