Soul Blade (3.5e Class)

Soul Blade

Put simply, a Soul Blade describes one who is capable of turning their very life essence into a physical object, taking the form of a weapon. This weapon reflects their inner self, and is neither magic nor psionic - though it replicates some magical or psionic effects. It is, in fact, of a primordial origin, predating any form of mortal power. The power to use a soul for power is an ability typically only used by gods - which is why Soul Blades are so powerful. Through great practice and strength of will, they master their soul and their blade, becoming a deadly force.

Making a Soul Blade

Despite the name, the term "Soul Blade" applies to anyone who uses their soul to form metaphysical weapons. They can take the shape of any weapon the user has seen, ranging from bows to blades, or even guns, depending on the campaign setting. Whatever they use, a soul blade will usually be a great damage dealer.

Abilities: Strength is very useful for damage, which is a priority for a Soul Blade. Constitution will determine how powerful a Soul Blade's effects will be, and compensate for a melee fighter's proximity to danger.

Races: Any race can become a Soul Blade, so long as they have a soul.
