Sorcerer (Plushie Substitution Level)

Plushie Sorcerer Substitution Levels

Note: Only Eijilund Plushies are eligible for these. Plushie Sorcerers are the most likely class for any plushie, for it is in their very blood... er... stuffing. A plushie loses his familiar but gains the ability to convert spells into damage for their Go Boom abilities.

Reflexive Caster: Reflex saves, not Will, are a plushie sorcerer's main ability. Their Will save becomes poor, and their Reflex save becomes good for the rest of their sorcerer levels.

Arcane Boom (Su): As a free action you make channel arcane spell energy into your self-detonations. In addition to the normal effects, you deal extra fire damage equal to 1d6 points x the level of the spell sacrificed.

Imbue Spell (Sp): Plushies have magic sown within them and sometimes they excel at certain spells. At levels 5, 10, 15, and 20 they may choose one spell they know. They may now cast that 1/day as a spell-like ability. In return they give up a normal spell per day at the appropriate level for the spell. Choosing the same spell increases the number of times you may cast it. As a spell-like ability it ignores XP costs, however it only ignores up to 250xp in cost. Any higher, and the spell costs XP as normal. Example: At 1st level give up a 3rd level slot to have Fireball 1/day. At 10th level they give up a 4th level slot for Animate Dead 1/day. At 15th level they give up another 3rd level slot for Fireball 2/day.

gollark: Maybe I need to implement a LRU cache instead of just loading all things ever into RAM?
gollark: This is due to people bad.
gollark: No, it's remarking on how few there are.
gollark: This might be due to what's technically a memory leak ish.
