Skinwalkers Shapeshifters “Skinwalkers ,” shapeshifters transform into the bodies of any mammals for the purpose of watching, spying for and protecting their communities.
Combat: This monster is able to assume the shape of any Mammalian/Humanoid creature between four and seven feet high of the same sex as they are, up to six times a day, along with a change to normal form at any time. The shapeshifters chooses and duplicates a form, and then attempts to mimic and convince others that he/she is that type. The shapeshifters does not have ESP but can duplicate the type’s appearance and mannerisms with 100% accuracy, including the type’s skin, fur, color height and weight, as long as the shapeshifter has observed the type. This is a natural ability, non-magical cannot be detected by Detect Magic but things like; True Seeing or Dragon Sight will expose that something is not right. Because of their nature they have a -2 save vs Petrification - Polymorph
Habitat/Society: Shapeshifters are from Native American Navajo Tribe tradition, A race of legendary neutral shapeshifters in the formation of Native American culture. Often referring to the practice as “Skinwalkers ,” shapeshifters transform into the bodies of any mammals for the purpose of watching, spying for and protecting their communities. They are from long ago, but they live on, still working as spies for any society and government. They have even been known to work as assassins. All shapeshifters align themselves to a single group. Although this is rare, pairs of shapeshifters anywhere at any time, and in unexpected locations. They are almost always looking to mate. Basically solitary, shapeshifters find it easier to raise their offspring as single parents. They prefer to take the form of a type of mammal to spy, trail, information gathering and thieving. As a challenge and to comfortably provided for themselves.
Ecology: Shapeshifters are sophisticated and crafty, living off the intrigue of others. They must also be reckoned with as clever and effective spies and thieves who can wreak political mayhem or support a society with positions of power.
