Simulacrum (3.5e Creature)

Simulacrum

Whether created by an Effigy Master, a mystic location or some other powerful source of illusion magic, a simulacrum is a construct made of ice and snow which appears to be a normal living creature through the power of illusion.

It is important to note, however, that simulacra are entirely capable of using equipment, and usually will do so. Like most constructs, a simulacrum's true power comes to the fore when gifted with some basic mundane and magical equipment. Here is a sample simulacrum which has been given a magic shield, a magic breastplate, and a Frost Sword -- all equipment which is well within the capabilities of an Effigy Master to acquire or produce. While the simulacrum is still a "CR 3 Creature" -- once it has been armed and equipped it is much more formidable.

Note: While the alignment reads "unaligned", Simulacrums have the same alignment as their creators.

gollark: You know, it very much might be.
gollark: It's currently sitting at "basic features work" (editing, creating, viewing note pages), but more advanced stuff is not implemented because the design is hard to do elegantly.
gollark: It's going slowly because programming is hard and I'm lazy and conflicted on some design aspects.
gollark: Minoteaur (v2.0.0 really early alpha) is a server-rendered webapp using SQLite/Node.js/Express. I briefly experimented with making UI-type stuff run on the client but it was annoying.
gollark: On the one hand that encourages non-stateful backends (using the database and FS for storage and not holding important stuff in RAM), which I do anyway, but on the others it's inefficient and annoying.
