You see what appears to be a large, semi-anthropomorphized deinonychus, covered in fine down and garbed as though it were the pharaoh of an ancient civilization. Although it holds its torso upright, its legs are set below and behind the waist; a long, rigid tail helps to balance this awkward build. Cruel intellect glimmers in its red eyes as vibrant sparks of energy crackle and gambol about its three-fingered hands.

The beings known as Shuuva-Kui are an oddity among scholars: although native to the material plane, they hail from another planet altogether. These creatures are believed to be the unwanted offspring of Tiamat and a lesser entity; shunned by both parents, the shuuva-kui attempted to rebel against their progenitors and were exiled onto an asteroid with minimal air, where they survived by entering a state of supsended animation. eventually their prison entered the orbit of an uninhabited planet, awakening them from their slumber and allowing them to claim that world as their own. Over countless millenia their numbers grew and their civilization evolved, to the point where the shuuva-kui developed both thought-driven technology and a bizarre--and unnatural--philosophy: there are no true gods.

While they acknowledge the existence of the entities which are worshipped by countless beings across the material plane, the shuuva-kui refuse to consider them gods; as far as they're concerned, the gods are nothing more than extremely powerful outsiders, playing at ruling the universe with powers and abilities that they neither understand nor respect. To the shuuva-kui, there is only one thing worthy of reverence and worship--The Primal Equation, a quantum mathematical formula which supposedly dictates the course of the multiverse. If they could find and solve this equation, the shuuva-kui would essentially become the undisputed masters of all creation; fortunately, the equation is not all in one place: it was broken into multiple pieces long ago and scattered across the planes by an unknown entity. One such piece is a certain cube covered in ever-changing formulae, found in the planar metropolis of Sigil. Larger fragments, however, are believed to be found on the material plane, and the shuuva-kui have set their course for the largest one--our very world.

a typical shuuva-kui stands six feet tall and weighs 500 pounds. Shuuva-kui no longer have a spoken language, communicating telepathically with one another, although they used to speak draconic. They have a bizarre and alien form of writing that organizes text in concentric circles rather than lines, with newer text appearing within the previous circle. Rather than using paper, they write on screens and the insides of hollow tubes, that are capable of scrolling through the information like a modern-day computer. Needless to say, this can be baffling to other creatures.

Shuuva-kui are proficient with all simple and martial weapons.

Combat

Shuuva-kui are deadly opponents in one on one combat, utilizing their claws, teeth and whatever weapons they may wield as they pounce on their hapless foes. If outnumbered, they will resort to their formidable array of psionic powers, particularly the fission power.

Psi-like abilities (Ps): Manifeser level 17th, at will-- claw of energy, ego whip, schism, energy ball (any), stomp, inertial barrier, control body, mind probe, thought shield; 3 times per day-- tornado blast, energy wave, psionic true seeing, psionic dominate, suspend life, psychic crush; Once per day-- psionic iron body, psionic mind blank, decerebrate, fission.

Technopathy (Ex): shuuva-kui have spent so many eons using their psionic technology, that they can instinctively control any contruct with but a thought, be it mundane, magical, psionic or otherwise. This ability, frighteningly enough, can even bend an inevitable or a warforged to the shuuva-kui's will. A construct which is targeted by this ability must succeed on a DC 25 Will save or be affected as though by the dominate person spell.

Technopathy can also be used to make Psicraft and Spellcraft checks to determine the nature of psionic or magical devices, as well as Use Magic/Psionic device checks to activate them remotely.

Pounce (Ex): If a shuuva-kui makes a charge, it can follow with a full attack.

Telepathy (Su): a shuuva-kui can communicate telepathically with any creature within 100 feet that has a language.

Nonbeliever (Ex): a shuuva-kui puts his faith in no deity. He cannot be healed by divine magic and has spell resistance 30 against any and all divine spells, reguardless of their nature.

Undying Hatred (Ex): Shuuva-kui despise all gods for their treatment at the hands of Tiamat, and will go out of their way to destroy anything associated with them. They gain a +5 attack and damage bonus against all clerics, paladins, blackguards, angels and any creatures which are similarly indentured to divinities.

gollark: And you don't (and can't) normally give anything root access.
gollark: I mean, they can't persistently touch the OS *ever* without root access.
gollark: Not really.
gollark: Yeeees.
