Water Walk to Prevent Escaping

What happens when an enemy tries to escape by diving into the water, but a wizard manages to tap him and cast Water Walk on him?

Does he take fall damage as if from a hard surface? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 96.3.132.146 (talk • contribs) 2008-05-31 15:35. Please sign your posts.

I'd say it's like diving onto a water bed. —Sledged (talk) 09:34, 6 June 2008 (MDT)
If you want to be very particular, the force does 60ft. per round, which is 60ft/6 seconds, which is 10 feet per second, which is less than the force of gravity... So yes -- more like a water bed. --Aarnott 09:41, 6 June 2008 (MDT)
However, it's a good offensive spell to use on an aquatic creature that doesn't have the amphibious ability. —Sledged (talk) 09:46, 6 June 2008 (MDT)
gollark: I meant a commutator thing, not just a rectifier (which would presumably only work for a generator?).
gollark: Oh.
gollark: How do you know?
gollark: Anyway, you can make DC generators/motors but you need annoying mechanical bits and nobody* likes it.
gollark: 9V batteries actually contain 4 1.5V batteries mostly, IIRC.
