SRD Talk:Spiked Gauntlet

Sunder

Seeing as there is no number under hp on the table, would it be wrong to assume Spiked Gauntlets are un-sunderable? --Froggeh 13:27, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

That the DM's call, but the lack of listed hit points is due to the SRD not directly providing that value, not necessarily because they can't be sundered. The section on SRD:Breaking and Entering lists the hardness of steel at 30/inch of thickness. Personally, I'd say it has 1 or 2 hit points (about the same as light blade). —Sledged (talk) 15:32, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
Regarding the original question, no, it would not be wrong, if one were to assume the that spiked gauntlets fell under the category of "armor." Despite the lack of categorization as such on this wiki, the lack of numbers could be taken as an indication of the designer's intent. --Jota 16:54, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
gollark: Also, you don't have to deal with issues caused by gloves or masks or whatever. As much.
gollark: I'm not really sure why people are so obsessed with face/fingerprint unlock. I mean, you can type in a PIN very fast, and it's generally more secure to rely on knowledge rather than some biometrics which you can't change.
gollark: Hmm, can retinas actually send pain signals or anything?
