It's still a nice low-level alternative to the archmage's mastery of elements, and it makes the archmage's ability that much more attractive by comparison. Though it's a waste of a precious feat if one plans on taking levels of the PrC. —Sledged (talk) 10:55, 21 March 2008 (MDT)

Descriptor

And what about the descriptor? For example in Complete Arcane it is said that

``The spell's descriptor changes to the new energy type--for example, a fireball composed of cold energy is an evocation [cold] spell.

gollark: Probably not *explicitly*, but I assume this is roughly the thinking.

gollark: I think the problem is that everyone thinks "Oh wow, CC is so unlike Windows! And I have never seen any desktop OS but Windows! I must make it more like Windows so it is more familiar. Clearly nobody else has done this, or it would already be the default, because this is obviously better"
