SRD Talk:Elves, Gray (Race)
Gray Elves Problems
Can someone please mention which book this race is in? It would be great if this was mentioned on every page as I often have to do a lot of searching for this. Thanks
- I found them mentioned in the complete book of elves, but it says it is only +1 to dex, and -1 to str rather then 2
Do Gray Elves get +2 Dex? What do the book say? I see it as +2 Int.... --Green Dragon 16:32, 31 August 2006 (MDT)
- Verified this against the Elf (SRD Creature) entry. Corrected. --Dmilewski 07:49, 3 September 2006 (MDT)
- As it says in the SRD/MM:
- Gray Elf Traits (Ex)
- These traits are in addition to the high elf traits.
- +2 Intelligence, -2 Strength.
- So total, it's -2 Strength, +2 Dexterity, -2 Constitution, +2 Intelligence. If it replaced the high elf ability adjustments, it would make note of it as it does with the aquatic elf and the wild elf traits. —Sledged 12:57, 3 September 2006 (MDT)
- Oh... looks like I read it wrong... Thanks for clearing that up, and sorry for making such a problem. --Green Dragon 13:52, 3 September 2006 (MDT)
- This problem extends to all elf races. I must now chech all MM races. Thanks for the sharp eyes.--Dmilewski 15:11, 3 September 2006 (MDT)
- So, I guess it was wrong. Thanks for changing it... --Green Dragon 21:45, 8 September 2006 (MDT)
- Yeah, it says wood elf under weapon proficiencies, as a note to fix that at some point. --Ganteka 19:55, 24 September 2008 (MDT)
- Got it.--Dmilewski 09:46, 26 September 2008 (MDT)
gollark: Randomly removing features is a problem, and never-updated dependencies is a problem too.
gollark: Also, a programmatic API would be neat.
gollark: Some package manager features I think are important:- working update, without overwriting edited config files or something- customizable repos- semantic versioning for dependencies
gollark: I like how it does somewhat more than an entirely faithful emulation does.
gollark: It's also a bit crashy on potatOS for some reason.
