SRD Talk:Brain Lock
Display
Shouldn't the Display line say "Mental and visual" instead of "Material and visual"? Is this a typo of some sort or is it just the spell that doesn't make sense (if officially, it IS material, it's fine, just making sure though)? BOb666777 (talk) 08:54, 20 June 2012 (MDT)
- Yah, "material" is correct. So the target of a brain lock is coated with ectoplasm for a round. Marasmusine (talk) 09:53, 20 June 2012 (MDT)
- Oh okay then, so there's no mental display at all (even though I have no idea what a mental display would look like, I know for a fact a lot of spells/powers have it)? BOb666777 (talk) 08:51, 21 June 2012 (MDT)
- "Mental" is more like an "alarm" inside people's heads. Marasmusine (talk) 06:58, 30 June 2012 (MDT)
- Well that's pretty much what I thought, and I figured every Mind-Affecting spell/power should logically have a mental display. Unless you mean that no mental display = the target isn't aware that their mind is being manipulated? —bOb666777 (talk) 09:25, 10 July 2012 (MDT)

gollark: The standard is 9x9.
gollark: Yes. Destroy it. Remove it from the skybox.
gollark: I wonder if we actually could find some way to turn off the sun/moon after it's lased.
gollark: Are you going to help with my moon-shot program, then?
gollark: A clock.
