Personality/Description

The Rhox are a race of enlightened Rhinos. They are dedicated to the growth of their spiritual self, as such they will often spend much of the day in contemplation of the celestial plane seeking to further connect with the angels they revere. Though they are generally peaceful they have been known to have lightning fast tempers and will not allow their convictions to be questioned. If another being attempts to do so the being in question is likely to find themselves uncomfortably between a Rhox and a hard place. Still it is worth befreinding the Rhox for once their trust is earned they are steadfast and unwavering companions who charge fearlessly into battle against overwhelming odds (as long as the cause is just)

Physical Description

Rhox are very large, growing as tall as 15 feet with the shortest being 8 feet tall their weight ranges from 11,500-1,543 lbs. They have 2 eyes and a protruding snout on top of which are two sharp horns the first of which is twice as long as the second (on avererage as long as 2 feet) though these horns could readily be used as a weapon it is considered disonorable among the Rhox to do so and only oucasts will consider it. They have no teeth as their diet consists of plant matter and they have a beaklike mouth to accomodate their grazing lifestyle. They have an extemely tough hide which initially repels most piercing and slashing instruments. Due to the fact that they can withstand so much punishment combined with their healing rites most Rhox can be expected to reach the age of 220 years old (with the record being 311)

Relations

Rhox get along well with most races as long as long as they don't challenge their religios beliefs, but cannot tolerate anyone with an alighnment of evil and similarly cannot tolerate zombies or any other form of undead or lich wich they consider the scourge of the earth.

Alignment

Rhox are almost always good and few are chaotic (though if they feel that their gods are served best by selfish action they can be)

Lands

Rhox are native to and feel most at home in the lolling plains which are full of sustenance and are constantly bathed in the celestial light of the gods, but will have no trepedation about questing into the abyss if they feel it is the will of the divine

Religion

The Rhox are devout beings and religion is the single most important thing in their lives. They can practice any religion but it is almost unheard of for a Rhox to be a demonic follower. Almost all Rhox revere angels and hope one day to ascend to the heavens to join them on judgement day

Names

Each Rhox is born nameless and remains so until the young Rhox begins down its spiritual journey at which point it consults with the divine entitiy it has chosen to follow and after several days the Rhox will emerge from meditation with a newly formed identity which it will be loathe to part with.

• A Rhox's base land speed is 40 feet: 60 feet when charging
• Due to poor eyesight Rhox get -3 on Spot checks
• Natural Armor: +6 to AC
• Holy Charge: Once a day a Rhox can call upon God against the demonic and run them down getting +20 to land speed and +12 to attack rolls
• Automatic Languages: Common, Elven, Draconic.
• Favored Class: Monk, Cleric
• Level Adjustment: +7
